Abstract: The asymptotics of scalar phase transition models in the limit of vanishing interface width have been widely studied over the past decades. We will talk about some analogous results on phase transition models with high dimensional energy wells such as the matrix-valued Allen-Cahn equation and the isotropic-nematic interface problem in the Q-tensor framework.
个人简介:王伟,浙江大学长聘副教授、研究员,主要研究方向为偏微分方程。2013年博士毕业于williamhill官网,导师为张平文院士和章志飞教授。王伟主要研究偏微分方程中的奇异极限问题以及自由界面问题,在液晶不同模型之间的关系、理想不可压磁流体自由界面问题的适定性、相变界面模型的渐近极限等问题上取得了一系列重要成果。他已在Invent. Math., CPAM, ARMA等著名数学期刊发表论文20余篇,2019年获优秀青年科学基金资助。
